Our mission: The mission of the American Forest Kindergarten Association is to cultivate a platform for advancing, sustaining and inspiring the American Forest Kindergarten movement through education, advocacy, and support.
We’re seeking three more board members to help guide the American Forest Kindergarten Association. Work alongside passionate board directors and gain useful skills while sharing your talents!
The Board of Directors holds responsibility and care for the organization and those that it serves. The board of directors is tasked with: refining the vision for the organization; providing guidance and oversight to ensure its continued success; promoting diversity, equity and inclusion; establishing policies to guide; providing outreach; and, exercise influence to leverage partnerships and resources, ensuring the procurement and effective management of resources. Time commitment is estimated to be 6-8 hours per month, including quarterly board meetings, committee meetings, trainings, and event preparation and participation.
